spring...

we are loving this girl that Craig loves...

DH and I took her for a ride Sunday...

Craig had to work...

but now he has 12 days off to spend with her...

and spring is slowing starting around here...

the creeks are swollen and the ground is saturated with more rain coming...

flooding is a possibility...

DH took me to the walk in clinic Friday after work...

put me on antibiotics and now the IBS is flaring...

I will be glad when I am off of them...

ready to get this spring going, but looks like it will be awhile...

have good weeks...

our first day of spring started off like this...

but it was all gone by noon!

we have been having the grandest time meeting Jody and learning so much about Canada...

and Craig introduced her to biscuits and gravy for her first breakfast here...

they do not do white gravy in Canada...

she liked it...

and Addie is in love with her...

will not leave her alone!

Jody just fit right in from the first minute she walked in the door...

so many hours talking and getting to know her...

she is a wonderful person and I know whatever happens in the future, it will all be ok...

my family made it through the week...

the funeral for Courtney was beautiful...

it was hard and the next few days, weeks and months will be an adjustment period for them to find what their new "normal" will be...

but they have so much support...

and prayers from so many...

and we have such a wonderful lady staying with us right now...

Craig's girlfriend from Canada flew in late Tuesday night and we are going to spend the next three weeks with her...

getting to know her and her us...

and we will be doing a funeral here in town soon...

just got word that a wonderful lady slipped into glory last night...

Jean was loved by so many, the mother of our dear friends and grandmother of one of Craig's best friends (Ben)...

thank you for all of your kind words for us and the family this past week or so...

they have been greatly appreciated and a tremendous comfort...

you warm my heart...

new week...

last week was rough...

but I did manage to get some photos of the Easter things that I put out the weekend before...

thank you for all of your kind words, prayers and thoughts...

my table in the playroom needed something done to it...

I was originally going to sand it down and paint it...

but I had a roll of contact paper left over and used it instead...

and it is working great so far...

and when it gets icky...

I can peel it off and do it again or paint or whatever...

don't be surprised if this table doesn't end up back in the kitchen at some point...

Mr Peebody crossed over...

he put up a good fight...

he had a tumor in his tummy...

its been there for about a year...

and he did ok with it for so long...

this week it had grown so large, he was having trouble breathing...

and tonight, he crossed over with all of us with him in my bed...

it was peaceful...

love you, baby boy...
