No shopping here!

 we do not run out for the black Friday sales...

we shop online...

lol...

saves time, money, and fights...

its a good thing...

decor going up, lights blinking, still working on leftovers...

but they are almost gone...

enjoy the rest of the weekend...

there comes a time in life...

when you have more loved ones on the other side...

and few left on this one...

this is how I imagine our family dinners...

and we spend time around the table retelling tales of those who made such a difference in our lives...

and we tell how thankful we are for all the things God has given us...

and all the people who He placed in our lives...

without all His blessings...

we wouldn't be where we are today...

so if you have family...

enjoy them...

even the nuts...

you might just find out later...

they are the ones you will miss the most...

getting ready for Thanksgiving...

DH will do the grocery shopping in the morning...

the menu had to change this year...

he is on a low sodium diet now...

so we are doing a pork roast with all the trimmings...

it will be different, but making a new custom...

getting ready for the end of this week...

being thankful for all the little things...

I hope you have many things to be thankful for...

 

November is coming...

 where has this year gone?

so much has gone on...

but DH is doing so good now...

still doing his cardio pt 3 times a week...

has about 5 more weeks of that...

I am holding my own...

there is not much I can do anymore...

but that's the way it goes...

both boys are good...

I have been sick, but that has passed...

my allergies are worse this year than they have ever been...

there will be some changes around here come the first of the year...

all the pretty things that used to fill this blog are going to have to find another home...

its just too much for me to take care of now...

and I really don't mind now...

they have made me smile for a long time...

its just time to simplify our lives a little more...

sometimes its just hard getting through the day without all the extra stuff to do...

seasons change and they change so fast...

God's always had a plan before...

so I am sure he has a plan for the rest of it...
