Update on Amy!

as you will recall, Amy and her boyfriend, Eric, were survivors of a tornado that destroyed his parents' home, in which they died...

Amy is in progressive Care and doing great!  She is coping with the amputation really well. She is doing so great. The Doctors say it is nothing less than a miracle.
Eric is staying with his sister.  They buried their parents with financial support from their community and local church.
One other lady who was injured in the storm has passed to the other side.

Prayer changes things.
God answers prayers every day, and your prayers count when someone needs them so much.
Thank you for taking the time to lift up their names before the throne.
Praise God in the highest for all he does for us here below.

You all have a great day!

there's a chill in the air...

but most of the bloomers and plantings seem to be ok...

it was in the 20s last night...

the grape vine and a few ferns look nipped...

and we will be there again tonight...

see how cold this boy is???

I have done 2 walks today and heading out for the 3rd...

that will be enough for me...

Mr Wiggles likes to roll in the dirt..

and Bebe likes to roll in the grass...

and we found this in the road...
Lord, help that baby robin...
hoping his mama has a big behind to sit on him with...

got some things done around here today...
but starting to poop out...
BS was low before supper, so I got a mini hershey bar for dessert!
well, hope you have a great evening...
and stay warm!

Prayer Needed for this little guy and his family...

today, I won't be blogging about life here...
but about this little guy and a battle that he has begun...
NanaDiana sent me to his grandma's blog this morning...
so I went right over to find out that he is in such need of prayer...
please take time today to whisper a prayer...
do a post about him...
keep him and his family in your thoughts...
here's a bit from his grandma's post...

"They did blood work along with an MRI while there which the doctor and surgeon said showed that he either has an infection all the way up the front of his leg or possibly leukemia. Things are moving quite rapidly now and he is scheduled to have a three-hour bone scan done at our local area hospital tomorrow (4/11/12) at 8:00 A.M.. Thursday (4/12/12) he is scheduled to have surgery at a hospital 2 1/2 hours away which involves drilling a hole into the bone in the front of his leg and removing some of that along with tissue to be tested. the day so far...

the morning began early with breakfast at 3:45...
then back to bed for a bit...

got back up and hopped in the shower...
got dressed...
and started cleaning the living room...
this is our "spring" look now...

traded some things out and dusted...

ran the vacuum and hit the kitchen...

doing laundry as we went...

how do you camouflage your printer?

then outside...
we took an early quick walk after the shower...
but it felt colder the second time out...

and we decided a road trip would be better...
than sitting in the shade with our teeth chattering...

the woods are starting to really fill in...

but we need rain so bad...
all the creeks are drying up...

this should be twice this wide and a lot higher...

around town a bit...

the scales on this fish spin...
I so want one...

and past the old house that sits alone...
waiting for someone to call it home again...

as so far that's been the day...
I am in the mood for a nap...
so that's where I am heading...
just a couple more days and it will warm up again...
I am ready...
right now we are having normal temps and we're used to 70s-80s...

did pick up bird seed and onion sets while we were out...
its that time again!

wind, wind and more wind...

they issued a red flag warning today...
because of the 30 mph winds and low humidity...
no burning nothing...

but it blew and blew...

I was out with my earmuffs on...

and we tried to go for walks...
but ended up back here behind the bushes...

do you dress your animals???
well, when the poor dog shivers, I dig out his duds...
he even has jammies with a trap door...

shadows...

leaves...

Daphne...

a little bitty baby lightening bug...
can you believe it?

he is wishing I would quit taking photos of him cuz he thinks he looks silly...
he asked me not to post this, but I couldn't resist...

now- need your help...
a friend moved and has things coming up in her new yard and would like to know what these are...
its got a yellow slipper flower like a snap dragon...

and this is a tree, maybe really big bush...

and this???
I haven't seen this in over 30 years and cannot remember what it is...
so if you could id these, it would be great!

have a great night!
cooler weather heading this way...
