even busy, I stole a few moments...

to start a couple more cards...

front cover and inside...

made of large hang tags...

I will glue the tops so it hinges from the string hole...

clamped them down good and stuck them with yesterdays...

and I even did a small gift tag...

need more of them...

dishes, laundry, took apart and cleaned out a fan...

and some other not so fun stuff...

seems like I have had a series of really yucky days...

but had a decent one to day, so much to get caught up on...

its midnight and Hermie and Lester are bouncing off the walls...

a couple of bad boys got a chocolate doughnut...

ate all the chocolate off of the top...

and are now running all that sugar off...

they can now jump on the counters...

I lost count on how many times I have filled the water bottle this week...

some days I just feel too old for this...

but they need to be trained...

DH is having a terrible time sleeping with the brace on...

cannot get comfortable...

the guys are ribbing him pretty good at work, too...

his new office name is Stephon...

he loves it...

he can take a joke and he can be a joke...

doesn't bother him...

well, off to bed, letting Craig deal with the rugrats...

I am closing my door...

DH sure doesn't need run over by them...

have a good day and hoping it warms up enough to start melting this white stuff away!

waiting for things to melt...

got these at Walmart last year...

just basic plain cards waiting for something fun to happen...

got a couple more done this evening...

and so the update on DH...

he has a radial head fracture in the elbow...

they put a rigid brace on him and he has to wear that for a week at all times...

with the sling...

babies...

he wears that for a week and then goes back to see the doctor again...

if all goes well, that's all he has to do...

if not...

its going to be surgery and two screws...

so pray he doesn't do anything else to it in the next week...

until the sling is off and he can use his arm again...

he is the new office girl at work...

he takes the ribbing...

and they do give each other a hard time there...

because he knows if it was someone else in there...

he would be one of the first to poke fun at someone else...

got my crafty going...

I did something yesterday that I haven't done in a long time...

I played in my drawers...

no, not those drawers...

my craft supply drawers...

and I made a valentine...

for the old guy who lives here...

those metal clamps let it dry flat...

and would you believe he finally went to the doctor?

and the xrays showed that there is a possible fracture inside the elbow...

and he has to see the ortho doctor tomorrow afternoon...

and the doctor today gave him a sling and told him to use it...

got back to work and he couldn't work outside in his sling...

so he got an office job...

the ortho doc may be able to read the xrays better or he may need an MRI...

and possible surgery...

nothing like waiting a whole week to have something done...

on a good note...

the long range forecast has us at 50 by next Wednesday...

woo hoo!

let the melting begin, I say...

and if DH is really good and heals fast...

he should be mended just in time to help with the spring clean up and planting!

what a guy...

another two weeks of this...

its going to be a major melt when it happens...

went for a teeny drive around town after lunch...

in town roads are nasty and slick...

when I went to bed last night, I could have cried, my ear hurt so bad...

but when I woke up, it was so much better and still improving...

so I opted out of  going to the weekend clinic...

I was so dreading getting out and getting around in this with the wheel chair...

or taking the chance of falling if they don't have things cleared off...

or being around the flu and cold bugs in the clinic...

which I would have probably caught...

and after getting out here and seeing what the roads looked like...

I am glad the ear was better...

thanking Him for His healing...

and all that He has given freely to us...
