one project at a time...

I had put my Americana paint bottles in the green cabinet when I first started organizing my playroom...

but it looked yucky...

then today, I was goofing off in there...

and looked at this, then opened the door...

there wasn't much in there and it could go somewhere else...

it didn't take but a few minutes to move the bottles, sorting as I went...

so all the greens are together...

the whites...

the blues...

and it came out looking like this...

and hidden away as soon as you close the door...

but withing reach and so easy to get to when I decide to paint something...

which I am itching to do...

then there is this box from Christmas...

from Tia...

there are, I think, 21 of these little jars in there...

and then I have drawers full of stuff like this...

and it is starting to look like this now...

in the green cabinet...

I have missed being in this little room...

tomorrow, I am moving the new laptop in there...

DH got his old one back...

and I am still trying to figure this one out and get all of my downloads on this one...

but the camera is working on it...

and my editor...

so all is good for now...

not sure how I like this one...

will take me a bit to get used to the keypad...

so, have a good day tomorrow...

its my niece's birthday...

and she is sick...

and her mom is in the hospital with fluid around her heart...

they are doing a heart cath in the morning, so prayers for her would be appreciated...

there is a blockage and the dye from other tests have her on dialysis anyway...

she is sick, too...

they all caught something in the doctor's office waiting room about 10 days ago...

so they could all use some divine help to get through all of this...

this is the river that runs through these parts...

its not very big here, but gets larger south of us...

the cold weather is back...

in the 30s, but 45 for Saturday...

then snow on Sunday...

not liking the colder nights...

but its still January, and anything above zero is a good thing...

and not being stuck in a snow drift is another...

got some plans for the next few days...

nothing major...

gonna hit the play room again...

and see what can be done in there and organize my stuff better so I can start doing something...

this month is moving right along...

where have the weeks gone?

just seems like Christmas was happening...

we have had a January thaw here...

several days in the 50s...

just enough of a tease to get you hoping that spring was just around the corner...

but the cooler weather is headed back this way...

with snow in the forecast...

oh, well...

it was fun while it lasted...

are you thinking about gardening yet?

I am beginning to...

just day dreamin' about it...

nothing on paper...

not one planting sketch...

I am ready to get started on the kitchen...

but need warmer weather for most of it...

sanding cabinets and all that fun stuff...

just biding my time with housework...

tending critters...

and nappin'...

might be a good time to crack a book or two...

I should be playing in my play room...

just can't seem to get started on anything in there...

but it so needs to be christened with a project of some kind...

(you know, messed up really good!)

however you spend your days...

whether it be creating something beautiful...

or just keeping your nose blown...

any ideas...

need something really cute to get her adopted...

she might be staying...

seems her and my Mr have a thing going on...

he never gets attached to any of them...

he likes them, he plays with them all...

but he is always ready for them to move on...

but not this one...

she greets him at the door every afternoon...

she can't wait for him to get home...

if his butt's in the recliner...

she is right there...

playing, napping...

so, any cuter than cute names would be wonderful!

another winter Sunday drive...

we still have some icy places, but the most of it on the ground is gone...

gonna push 50 tomorrow...

it was a bright and sunny day, but that wind was cold...

Charlie tore a claw out somehow on Friday...

no blood or anything could be found...

so I have been soaking it and putting honey and a bandage on it...

he carries it when it gets sore...

the old man is off tomorrow...

and we have a vet appointment in the afternoon for the two smallest babies...

for their check ups and shots, testing for aids and leukemia...

and if its all good...

they go up for adoption...

added some new ones...

said a prayer for each one as I let their blog go...

some hadn't post in 3 years...
