the jungle is gone...

we started out yesterday morning on this...

thinking it might take a couple days...

it took us about 3 hours...

and did we make a mess...

we left 2 trees and the yucca plants...

took the guys 3 loads to haul it to our city dump...

;o)

I will get better photos of the after today...

they have some stumps to remove...

after it rains again...

I still have 2 days with them...

not sure if I will survive or not...

;o)

I am so sore...

but we are going to hit it again today and see what else we can destroy make better...

its all in a day's work!

using just stuff from a box in the playroom...

wonder how long before one of the critters around here decides to dismantle it?

4 day vacation...

today kicks off a 4 day vacation for the guys being home together at the same time...

without a holiday involved...

this has happened since Craig started working...

his first paid vacation, really...

we have the Japanese beetles!

this counts 5...

I do not like them...

rose of Sharon will be blooming by next week...

it was so humid out yesterday morning, but by evening it was much better...

bean field behind us...

and the last of the clouds moving out...

here it is, 2am...

I really need to get back to bed...

I will need all the sleep I can get if I am going to crack that whip for 4 days in a row!

this world is going nuts...

we had fog yesterday morning...

but by evening, with the breeze, the humidity wasn't bad...

so I went out and dead headed a bunch of stuff...

we missed the rain that was headed our way around noon...

got a long weekend with my guys this week...

looking forward to getting some more outside stuff done...

we have a few more days left of day lilies...

and I found 4 Japanese beetles on the yellow knock out...

had a really good day and got some things done inside, too...

the kittens are turning into a full time job...

they play and play and run up my pant legs...

and I holler...

and they do it again...

;o)

they are pouncing and chasing...

its a zoo...

I love their nap times...

the week is almost over, again...

its been a short week...

full of rainy days...

got to the doctor yesterday...

got to go back in a month...

couldn't find anything cheaper on the meds...

so I went back on the Metformin...

that caused several side effects before...

Januvia is $449.00 a month full price...

$130 with my insurance...

Metformin on the insurance...

30 cents for 14 days...

in 2 weeks, I get a new script and double the dosage...

that will be another 60 cents...

still under $1 for the month...

it was a no brainer for me...

going back to Metformin and taking some weight off...

will get me to the place I won't need them...

and can do it with the diet and exercise alone...

that's the goal...

did a Kroger stop and even got to Goodwill...

ready for a quiet day today...
