Progress...

the day started off a little foggy...
but the sun soon came out and burned it off...
but we still had our stiff northern breeze...
so plan B began...
with supervision...
we found a locust not quite all the way out of his shell hanging on the bird cage...
so he was transplanted to the porch steps to finish his journey...
meanwhile...
he went up on the post to finish drying his wings...
and soon flew away...
and while he was doing that...
Craig was digging...
the only thing left is the rose and lily of the valley...
we will move them this fall...
next weekend, a trip to Home Depot...
and pea gravel will be added...
to make room for a future hammock and frame...
now is the time to start looking as all the summer fun goes on sale...
just for fun...
needs a bath...
you'll have to come back this fall to see how it all turns out!...
found another buddy...
I wonder what kind of butterfly he will be...
snagged 3 begonias and moved them here on the way back in...
my weekend warriors...
I am blessed beyond measure...
and I love them very much...
we garden as a family...
and the family that gardens together, stays together...
happy gardening to you!
