the north end...

Rebecca dropped off a ton of stuff this morning that she found for me at a rummage sale yesterday and I love it all!!!!...
so after she took off for a morning of shopping with her hubby...
my DH and I went around the yard looking for fall...
this is the best we could do...
after a wee bit of rain this morning...
way less than an inch...
the sun came out again...
you can see how dry the leaves are on the ground...
some yellows are about here and there...
very little orange and red...
the spooky tree looks rather happy in the sunshine...
looking south down our street...
the rail road line...
all the under brush is fading...
and the rails are visible again after hiding all summer...
it's 74 out today with thunderstorms coming in tonight...
I've heard that one before...
in the 80's tomorrow...
and then more thunderstorms tomorrow night...
this is how we get twisters in the fall and winter here...
we should be in the 50's during the day...
we still haven't had a frost to kill the annuals or the tomatoes...
if we get a twister...
I'll do my best to grab my broom and camera and get the most awesome pics you ever seen!...
shoot...
may even show you them personally...
depending how far the ride goes...
bwaaahahahha...
just don't shoot me down!...

Lovely pictures, Tete. It is amazing what different things we see in our yards at different times of the year. I'm not sure where you live...I guess I thought you were in Ohio...but now I am guessing not. It is cool, dark, dreary and rainy here today. Have a nice afternoon- Smiles- Diana

Oh Tete I don't know how you can live with the threat of tornadoes. We do get them occassionally, but nothing like you guys!
This weather is so out of whack.
Be careful, and I sure hope no one shoots you down!
hugs,
gail

Ok, Tete,
I can just see you on that broom! Too funny! We've been having summer like temps today here as well! And are you SURE you don't want to loan out your personal shopper?
