Pink Saturday...

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month...
You or someone you know and love will be effected by breast cancer in your lifetime...
It is very important to do your home exams...
and see your doctor regularly...
because you are so important to someone you love...
and their life without you would be so empty...
Breast Cancer has many victims...
but the ones that suffer the most are the ones left behind...
the ones who have to leave someone at the grave...

My step mother and two of my husbands cousins are breast cancer  SURVIVORS!

but we have 2 ladies in our community that are now fighting for their lives here...
a fight that they may not win...
but they are not giving up...
and they have a whoop butt kind of attitude...

Women are not the only ones who can get breast cancer...
this year alone over 1000 males will also be diagnosed...

EARLY DETECTION...
AWARENESS...
RESEARCH...

What Cancer Cannot Do...
It cannot...invade the soul, suppress memories, kill friendship, destroy peace, conquer the spirit, shatter hope, cripple love, corrode faith, steal eternal life, silence courage...

Thank you, Tete- for this post. We need to spread the word every way we can. It is a non-discriminating disease. Hugs- Diana

Tete, Thanks for the comment about my pinky! He was found in a abandoned house in Charleston and yes he has a good home and is a happy cat.

I bought several postcards off of u!! I bought the Gertie for my best friend..its her daughters name! And Annie for my aunt annie and ida for her cousin (they are all gone but I look at them and think of them).

I love Rebecca's things and am dying to get to the barn someday! Eric is my distant cousin.

have a great weekend! So glad we hooked up!
