Number one best selling book of all time...

Did you know that the Bible is the best seller of all time?..
it's true...
how many of you run out to buy the next best christian books for guidance?..
well, I have a point to make today...
I have a couple of friend's who are always looking in books to find their way...
or they are listening to others to lead them...
they read a lot of the best sellers out there...
and have all the newest CDs...
but did you know...
that God wrote the Bible for you?...
to guide you...
to enrich you...
to feed you...
and did you also know that 10 people can read the same passage and each come away with a different view...
and that none of them are wrong...
that the Bible is written in such a way, that it can pertain to us each individually...
I know some will say, well I just can't understand it...
well, then you aren't supposed to...
not at this time...
there have been passages that I have read for years before God finally revealed it to me...
I wasn't supposed to know about it before...
He will give you daily what you need for that day...
no more and no less...
now back to the other best sellers...
these are books written by people who have read the Bible and then wrote down what God was telling them that day...
it was right for them...
maybe not for you...
the only translation of God's word that you need is His...
trust Him in that...
and there are books out there that are great reads...
the ones that hold testimonies...
like Chicken Soup for the Soul books...
so go back to the basics and crack open the original...
and watch out for blessings...
and lighted pathways...
and love...
and don't forget to pray for understanding and His message to you before you start...
my parents taught me all of that...

This is a great post! I can think of times at church, listening to the sermon in a congregation of 200 or more, and wondering just *how* the pastor knew what I needed.

I found my way over here from Terry/Lady Liberty's blog. Looking forward to checking out your blog further and getting to know you! Please stop by my blog when you have a chance, too :-)
