just talked to my step mom...

hopefully they will get dad moved back to the nursing home tomorrow...
they didn't get his tests and blood work done in time for him to go back today...
they were just a tad late...
my step mom needs to go home so bad...
she has been washing up in the bathroom and changed her clothes every day...
but she hasn't been able to wash her hair!
she said she is going to take and  hour long shower when she gets home...
I told her I would be finding a mud puddle...
dad had a good day...
happy and not moody...
he did end up with a UTI again...
just after getting done with massive doses of antibiotics...
???
here he goes again...
never a dull moment with my dad...
that's for sure...

I will be good for her to be able to rest in her own bed. That must relieve your mind that she is with him when you can't be.

Hey Lady...

I am over at Mandy's, Bubbie sitting... I brought my camera with me, so I was able to upload some photos I had taken over the past few weeks, I Love being able to Post & add recent Pics! Glad your Dad will be able to go back to his place tomorrow, I think an hour long shower sounds wonderful for your step mom, if only the hot water would hold out. I sold the lot of thread today, a lady is going to use it for embroider with quilts, it will be Perfect for that.... I will miss the colors of the threads, since I had it in a display cabinet in the studio, but I needed the $$$ more than the Look!
I maybe staying the night here, the roads are suppose to be very Icy tonight, since the sun was out today, melted some of the roads and the temp fell to about 10.... when Mandy & Pat get home from the Red Wings Game, they will take me home if the roads weren't too bad (I like to sleep in My Own Bed) as I am getting older, My back does far better in my bed!
well, off to finish up the dishes, I will talk soon, I will get a letter in the mail to you too!
miss ya

I know it's hard when you can't be there to care for a parent. I just sent Mr.Vintage to my mom's with her meds as I have been laid up with a UTI and the flu.
Anyone have a gun... I need some relief (grin, just kidding)

Tete, good news--glad to hear it. I know your step-mom is dying to wash her hair. It's never easy when a loved one is in the hospital but it is extra hard on the family staying there. So glad he is able to get out of the hospital.
