Mission: Possible...

have you guessed yet?
do you have a clue?
a few have guessed...
but not right...
what do all of these images have in common?
see the pretty little bonnets on their heads?
Easter Bonnets...
remember getting Easter Bonnets?
and proudly wearing them...
didn't they make you feel so good?
the next part of the puzzle involves Angel Dawn...
she's the sweetest little girl who just happens to be fighting cancer...
and she has to do chemo until this fall...
all of her beautiful hair fell out...
and some wonderful people sent her winter hats...
but spring and summer are coming...
and she could use some fun, light weight, girly kind of bonnets...
now, here is what I am sending...
a cute little cap...
$5 at Walmart...
I got one in pink and one in black...
and I am going to stick this lace flower on the black one...
and this one will go on the pink one...
then I'm going to box then up and mail them to Nezzy...
who is Angel Dawn's Sunday School teacher...
and she will give them to her...
so she will have something pretty to wear...
so here is my idea...
I know there are a lot of crafty people out there...
and for those of you who aren't...
there are still plenty of cute hats to pick from...
and if we all sent her wonderful little Easter Bonnets...
and I am also going to stick in some fun Easter socks...
she could be like any other girl on Easter morning...
and all spring and summer, too...
with her beautiful hats...
fun socks...
and whatever else you think would just say...
"I'm so cute in my Easter Parade!"
she wears womens hats and her feet are a size 9!
so womens' socks, too!
and we can't send too many!
if Angel Dawn gets so many she can't wear them all...
she is at St. Jude's and I am sure she has a few friends that she can share all the love with...
and they can march up and down the halls...
in their very finest Easter Bonnets...
so if you want to help out a little girl fighting the worst of all diseases have a little fun and feel a little pretty...
leave me a comment and I will get the address to you...
if you would like to learn more...
just find her in my sidebar and click on her photo...
that will take you into Nezzy's post that tells all about little Angel Dawn and her daily struggles...

my idea is having them all mailed out by April 1st...
that give us just over a month to create some master pieces...
so put on your thinking caps...
and lets see what you can come up with...

What a beautiful idea Tete... I loved wearing my Easter bonnet.. two things I remember that I loved.. the bonnet and my fur muff that I'd feel like a queen wearing..

Sometimes I think all the casualness that people wear these days (including me) is a good thing. No worries about dressing up all the time. And people don't dress for church anymore but at least they are there. And then I think about the good times young people miss. No Easter bonnets, no sock hops, no football rallies, no more lots of things. Kind of sad. Wonder what the young ones will think back on and wish for again....wall telephones? :) This is such a great idea Tete. You have a kind soul. xoxo

Tete- You are such a good soul. I will be finding that little Miss a hat and sending it off. I'll even post a picture of it for you. My little girls still wear Easter bonnets...there is nothing sweeter than a little girl dressed up on Easter Sunday morning. Hugs-Diana

Good Morning Tete Sweetie...
Oh what a wonderful fun idea for our precious Angel Dawn. I will begin a search and see what I can create with fun for her. Please email me Nezzy's address so that I can send her one. It sounds like, after reading Nezzy's post today she is in need of a little cheering up herself. If you haven't read it, you must go over sweet one. She needs our prayers as well this morning.

I love the hats you have chosen, and yes wouldn't it be wonderful if she received so many that she did have to share with all of the others there at St. Judes. What a blessing that would be.

Your sweet Daddy and his wife, remain in my prayers sweetie. Please keep me up to date.

Many hugs sweet one and so much love, Sherry
