Mr Wiggles and I started out here...
and then we started our walk just before lunch time...
left over crocus bulbs that weren't planted last fall...
if they don't come up, then I'll toss them...
the bulbs were soft...
walnuts in a pot for the squirrels, but they didn't come and get them this year...
lilac...
the tulip greens are really growing!
day lilies...
they are just coming up everywhere...
I know we moved them around a lot...
but I think we might have had a little help...
I made it to here and had to stop and rest a bit in the glider...
my boy...
woke up with a nasty sinus headache this morning...
lasted until middle afternoon...
but he is good now...
ok- I posted about this being gone soon and a couple of you told me to plant flowers in it...
I don't like it...
I don't think flowers would make it pretty...
I can't see past yucky...
and it's so wobbly...
the one leg is rusted off and shorter than the rest...
some said put herbs in it...
I have a place for them to go...
besides, if it stays there is always the chance that DH will never let it go...
so on with the walk...
these have to be a lily...
my pink tiger lilies?
but I thought we moved all of them over a year ago...
I don't have bleeding hearts...
I only have 4 peonies that my neigbbor gave me a couple years ago that are out front along the side walk,,,
this is where I want my herbs to go...
I am going to 1/2 fill with pea gravel and then a good potting soil...
stick a petunia and a begonia in here and there...
it's going to be pretty...
we have some colder weather moving back in for several days, so I'm not cleaning this out for awhile...
the dianthus made it through the winter in here and hopefully, I will just have to add a few things this spring and this is good to go...
my burgundy mum....
another herb area...
more blooms every day...
but the bees weren't here today...
I need to get some grass seed sewn in here again...
this is one of the new crocus...
just the tiniest all yellow bloom...
purple has got to be one of the happiest colors of spring...
our cold frames...
as soon as the plants go on sale...
I am able to get what I want early...
and we put them in here...
they are safe from frost and nippy days...
the sun warms these up and they grow while we wait for a better time to plant...
then I made it to here and had to rest a bit again...
Robbie rested with me...
I'm thinking of painting this white and the bike, too...
just looking around and seeing what needs work and where things are going to go...
love these rusty cans...
and after I rested, I went from here to back to the porch and inside...
now that' not a major thing...
I know...
but I did it without the chair...
I couldn't do that last year...
we have 4 steps...
they are giving me trouble and sore muscles...
I did them 9 times yesterday...
and only once today...
I hurt...
but it's a good hurt...
and it will get better...
when I get used to it...
and I have little endurance...
and I have been going till I am exhausted...
to the point I can't move...
I just have to go to bed and sleep when that happens..
a 2 hour nap works wonders...
and then I go again...
but the longer I go...
the stronger I get...
the less pain there will be...
and we have a cold front coming in...
and I always tighten up with that...
there is improvement...
and all this PT and moaning and groaning are paying off...
if you have fibro, you have to keep moving...
and I know some days all you can do is wiggle your toes...
but do it...
don't ever give up...
because the good days do happen...

Well, I guess now that you aren't bragging about the sunshine you have I can talk to you again!;>) (as if I'd ever really stop). It is snowing hard here today...the schools let out early and it is cold and wet and miserable.
I love that you are able to get out this spring, Tete...and without the chair. That is wonderful....you can push yourself a bit..just don't push too hard. I am an ache-all-over-all-of-the-time person too so I get it and I hate it but it is what it is..and I deal as best as I can-just like you do.
I am glad to see bits of green at your place. None here yet but I can't wait. Have a good evening. Two more days of work for me and then MyHero and I are taking off for a few days to parts unknown. However, if you're very good I may tell you where I went when I get back! xxoo Diana
Mr. Wiggles is so handsome with his stripes. I got some ideas for my garden from you. Could you paint the old grill sky blue and use it as a planter? That is good to hear you are getting stronger.
Dear Tete,
looks like you have a good jump on getting things ready for some serious spring enjoyment days..we are looking at snow in the next day's night..3 - 5" and it makes me so mad...I hope this is the last vist from old man winter..I want him GoNe...
