Roses, lilacs and lambs...

remember the give away I won from Sherry at Country Wings in Phoenix?
the $40 gift certificate from CSN?
this is what I picked out...
a vintage quilted throw for the living room or to use as a table cloth in the kitchen...
it has vintage pink and yellow roses on one side and white and purple lilacs on the other...
and it feels and looks wonderful...
thank you, Sherry...
and my bestie, Rebecca, got me these for Easter...
lamb planters...
this one has pink bells, so you know she's a girl lamb...
and this little guy has a blue bow, so you know he's a boy lamb...
and they are adorable...
and I love lambs...
he's a happy boy lamb...
just too cute...
and she is just the most sweetest of them all...
and I love her pink bells...
so I guess, with the others I have...
I have officially started a collection...
thank you, Rebecca...
I love them very much...
and that they are planters, too...
is just extra fun...
I know you can put plants in them...
but I think I would rather put candy and other fun things in there...
a secret stash...
I feel so surrounded by love when I have things from friends in my home...
it just makes my days special...

I still have vertigo...
and it's from sinuses...
I am prone to vertigo...
but this is the worst that I have had in years...
and maybe some allergy stuff in there, too...
I am taking cold medicine...
and Craig steeped an onion with garlic salt...
so I'm going to start on that...
it's a natural antibiotic...
and if it doesn't work...
I will be in the doctor's office on Friday...
I am spending most of my time in bed...
movement isn't a good thing...
this post has been a challenge...
but Craig helped me a lot...
I have tried visiting a few of you, but it's just too hard to do...
thank you for all the comments and prayers...
as soon as I get back down to earth...
I will catch up...
I miss you guys...
keep praying...
I can use all the help I can get...

I'm linking up with these blog parties...

Sweet Tete ~ I am so sorry you are suffering from that nasty vertigo! Hoping it passes quickly for you.

I so love your CSN choice & those little planters take me back to my youth, Mother loved these kinds.

I want to TY so much for your sweet note & prayers re my hubby's serious illness ... it means a lot to me. We are not out of the woods yet & face another surgical procedure shortly. Your support I appreciate so.

Dear Tete,
Your quilt is beautiful and I love the planters precious Rebecca got for you. I like to collect the kinds that are vintage girl planters and I put colored pencils and things like that in them.
I am sorry you are down sick, I have been having severe stomach issues as well as sinus brought on by all the pollen. I didn't know that about an onion.
You are in my daily prayers.
Hugs

I am going to have to look up those quilts...I would probably pick the very same one you did. Your quilt is a blessing from the LORD FOR BEING SO DEDICATED TO PRAYING FOR EVERYONE. THERE IS NO ONE THAT CAN FEEL YOUR SHOES TETE.

Oh Tete- I am so sorry that you are still dizzy. I mean I might be a bit dizzy but I am a blond, after all! I love your quilt-it is a gorgeous piece and those little lambs are so cute. My hubby's mother got a yellow one filled with flowers when my husband was born. When I had our son she filled it with flowers and passed it along to me. It is yellow with a blue "ribbon".

Craig is such a good son...God certainly blessed you with him~ xxoo Diana

Oh my gosh, I love those little lambies, so cute! and the quilt is gorgeous, you are a lucky girl! Hey, I bought the garden hose and nozzle at Target and they weren't expensive. I think the hose was $10 and the nozzle $6. I always used to add cow poop too but switched to Mushroom Compost, it is amazing! Hope your Vertigo is better, xxoo Nan

You made the right choice in using your gift card. I love anything that looks like a quilt. You will find many uses for it. Your little planters are just the cutest. I know some people that have had what you do. It is not easy to get over. Requires a lot of bed rest I understand. Hang in there and be careful.
