bless my son...

of all days to get up sick...
but with the help of my son...
we rummaged 2 sales...
I have a bad cold, head and chest...
got up feeling miserable...
we knew we wanted to hit this one sale real bad...
so he got ready and I didn't have the energy...
so he loaded me in the van in my nightgown...
he held things up, signed the price and I told him yes or no...
some things are going in the booth...
some things are staying here...
50 cents!
curtains for my bathroom...
a whale paper weight for Craig...
and he got this for me since I love angels...
the only floral piece I got...
a wonderful basket...
I am going to use it for plastic store bags...
then I just sat outside off and on...
then took a nap...
finally got my shower this morning when we got back...
and just put another night gown back on...
this was the most perfect day so far...
the clouds were so poofy and the sky was so blue...
and it was 66...
and I missed most of it...
figures, right?
that's what I get for going out in the rain...
getting chilled to the bone too many times...
washing the car when it was 43 probably wasn't smart...
it is so nice to have something "common"...
it's not the fibro or the arthritis...
it's not the IBS...
it's just a cold...
and I feel rotten...
but it's a good rotten...
Craig was so good today...
and he helped me get everything cleaned up...
didn't get it priced...
but that can happen tomorrow...
he fed me all 3 meals...
gave me a wonderful neck massage...
and he's plugging in the electric blanket in the living room so I can lay down on the couch in a few minutes...
I will check in on all of you tomorrow...
have a good night and sweet dreams...

How Sweet a Son Do You Have! I love the way you did your saling today.... I am heading out with My Daughter's tomorrow to our 1st Flea Market of the season, can't wait, it is part of My Mother's Day, we are celebrating Saturday, so they all have Other Mother's to go to on Sunday, this way, I get them the Entire Day (My Grands Too!)
Hope you are All Snug as a Bug.... Feel Better! xox

Craig was sure a blessing from God-hand delivered to you! I am so happy that he is so good to you. One of the reasons my daughter-in-law married my son (she confided one day) was because of how much he loved his Mom....and he treats her just like he has always treated me...a blessing...a boy like that is a blessing.

Now...I tried to tell you earlier this week that you were overdoing...but would you listen? Would you? No!...so...I am NOT gonna say..I told you so...but...you know~

Get some good rest and take care. I understand that it is nice to be "normal" sick...a cold instead of being inflamed. God bless- xxoo Diana

Sorry you are sick, Tete! Hope you are feeling better very soon! I always make a big batch of tea from fresh ginger root, water, honey, and lots of fresh lemon juice when I am sick. It really helps! You found some great treasures, I am in love with the basket, and those two matching blue bottles! Get better soon:)

WOW! what a lovely Son you have surely a gift from God! I loved the bit about him Signing you the prices! I did wonder what the significance was but having read you're profile I now know :-)

I have ME so know how you are suffering! Do try and rest now and get your strength back up but it's so frustrating isn't it?

take care
