good afternoon...
the sun burnt off the fog quickly this morning and left a sunny, cool day to play in...
I got absolutely nothing done...
photos, a walk, lunch, a nap and a little DIY watching...
today is so perfect...
I love days when you dress in layers...
and slowly peel them away as the hands move forward on the clock...
the days are getting so short now...
but there is so much beauty left...
and so much color...
I am going to let these seed now...
and then just throw it in one of my flower beds to decompose over the winter...
and just maybe...
there will be a few little surprises in next summer's garden...
storing up those blessings for the long winter months...

I am storing up too, Tete! I love this time of year too...but it is too short for me. I would love months of this weather. It is cool here too and supposed to be cool all weekend.

Beautiful photos! I love the fall days that are cool enough for a jacket, but you can pull it off later in the day. Being farther south, we aren't there yet, though. It was 62 this morning on the porch...
