and what do you do when you are stuck inside...
fall house cleaning...
it's going slow...
so much junque to sort...
decisions to make...
keep?
sell?
toss?
it rained north Saturday morning...
so they shut down at 11 and DH was home before noon on Saturday...
he had all day off yesterday...
7-7 from here on out...
13 days in a row...
they get the 14th day off...
so that's every other Sunday...
it's going to be a long fall...
they have started picking beans...
and a little tiny bit of corn...
but the corn just isn't ready...
this time last year...
harvest was over...
we had such an early spring and early fall last year...
all the crops were in and most of the leaves were down...
so maybe this winter won't be like the last one...
and it will come slowly...
and it can leave early...
have a good night...
5 things that made me smile today...
1. NanaDiana's post today, another SweetCheeks video about who lives in her attic.
2. green, freshly mowed grass
3. a couple more bags going out the door that will no longer live here
4. elbow room
5. clean sheets

Fresh sheets right from the line, always make me smile. I love to bury my face in them and just breathe deeply.
Oh- Thank you, Tete! I always smile when I come here- I can just picture yoo doing everything you do in a day-knowing that sometimes it is a difficult day for you- but your "smile" is always on for your blog...and I smile double-wide when I see that Jettie has beat me here!;>) xo Diana
Nothing is better that fresh sheets from the clothesline! NOTHING! :)

Its been beautiful here today. But inside cleaning and doing laundry so it might as well of rained!
We got lots of rain here too, but we needed it.
You always take such "cozy" shots of the inside of your house, Tete.
I like your smile list....
xxxooo
I love your list, Tete! The simplest things are always the best, aren't they?! I just received a new set of flannel sheets that I ordered from Lands' End. Our old ones are kaput (they lasted 9 seasons!). It makes me smile just to think of cozy new flannel sheets! And ya gotta love Diana's posts, they always make me smile, too!
Oh, yeah. Clean sheets are a good thing!
