while most of them are still on the trees...

the canopy that we have enjoyed all summer will soon be gone...
and the skies will be bigger than ever...
lemon balm is seeding...
the walnuts have been shedding for awhile and the corn is almost ready...
leaves on the ground...
there's nothing like corn rustling and leaves floating by...
I wish this time lasted just a little bit longer...
I could get into 3 months of fall happening...

so before they all turn and float back to earth...
here are some leafy shots...

have a great day!

yes the black walnuts I hear falling off our tree onto my neighbors shed. or I find the remains around the porch, deck etc where the squirrels have eaten them.

Great photos, Tete. That is one of my favorite sounds too...corn rustling in the wind. We used to have big pines that whispered to us and I loved that too! Lovely- Hope you had a great day! xo Diana
