not meaning stinky...
but he had layers...
I can be...
good, bad...
kind, mean...
open, shut down...
friendly, shunning...
dorky, cool...
cute, semi-cute...
ok, I lied there...
shhhhh...
quiet, loud...
brave, totally chicken...
saint, sinner...
it's all me...
just in layers...
and they are one on top of the other...
it's up to me which layer I show...
which layer wins today...
what do others see when they look at me?
I know it's not always good...
if I had a halo...
it would be cock eyed...
that's for sure...
but I try...
I work at it...
I don't want to disappoint myself...
God...
rainy days make the colors more intense...
so do the darker days of our lives...
they make our colors more intense...
more visible...
to others...
we are more open then...
our guard is down...
because that's when we need help more...
we open up to let go and take in...
trading bad for good...
that's why we are closer after trauma...
turmoil...
we have seen more layers...

yes...we find out about layers that were deep and we hadn't seen them before when the circumstances of life sand down the outer ones...or the Hand of God begins to peel back those layers that have built up over things we were hiding...I hear you...wonderful post. I found out I'm a multi-layered girl this past year...
and speaking of "layers"!...I am going to be doing that...getting cold here this week. oh that WIND!!!! Hugs Tete...
