cute place settings for turkey day...

here are a few ideas that I found...
you still have time to find accents to spruce up your every day dinner ware...
a simple leaf plate...
nice for salads...
these are just so pretty and I would have to use them every day...
mix and match what you already have...
vintage looking patterns add custom look...
bold graphics add fun...
add white and off white to extend special pieces...
and if your family is like mine...
something funny on the table would fit right in...
but at my house...
you never see the dinner ware until we wash dishes when it's over...
the guys pile the food on and cover up all the pretty details...
and the years when I worked full time and the kids were still in school...
we did chinette...
toss is in the trash and the dishes are done...
it was enough to wash all the glasses, silverware, pots and pans...
besides...
it's the food and the company that they will remember...
right?

Love all your shows here, Tete. The one is hysterical. You know, when I was working I was never smart enough to use Chinette...although I should have. I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! xo Diana

Hi Tete Sweetue...
What a beautiful Sunday share you have today. I love the first one most of all, the use of the regular plate with a leaf center, so cute, and wouldn't be to expensive to display this one. I have seen many things on sale for Thanksgiving.

Thank you for the beautiful ideas and shares sweet friend. I can't wait to see your table setting for the holidays.

(DH and I are going out again. I used to do so much for both holidays and I decided last year to go out for Thanskgiving, and stop by the kids' houses for a desert later in the afternoon. This way we still have time with all, but a little less mess for me as far as clean up.

Have a gorgeous week sweet friend. I hope you are feeling better this week. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Chinette is wonderful dinnerware, and it comes in so many beautiful colors. Turkey gravy, Cranberry delight, squash casserole, and pumpkin pie. no two are alike.
