very simple ideas to decorate this year...

I was searching online very early this morning for some simple ways to spruce things up for Thanksgiving dinner, without going over board...
I really like this...
this is so easy...
this is a bit more, but there are several little things from this that you could do...
and not everyone is artsy fartsy...
and the less is more thing is appealing to me right now...
I like the 1st photo...
reminds me of a haystack...
colored many of them as a kid and it makes me think of Thanksgiving...
this is so simple...
water in vase, buy flowers and plop them in there...
nuts, candles and glass...
simple and elegant...
now this is cute and you can use this idea many different times a year...
pumpkin candle...
easy enough...
easy..
and cute...
just fill a basket with your left over gourds...
simple splashes of color...
from  your yard or market...
this is just wonderful...
plain, simple, timeless...
in 2 weeks, most of us will be eating left overs and another holiday dinner will go down in the books...
just a few simple ideas for you to follow up on...
I know many of you work either part or full time and every second counts...
so while you are shopping for that turkey or ham...
pick up a couple of small things to play with...
have a great weekend!

Love the idea of using the little pumpkins to hold votives and tealights. My favorite is the kerchiefs on the pitchers!!!
Great ideas for decorating, and easy peasy too!
Thank you for sharing Tete.
Hugs.

Like them all. but the flowers in clear vase...LOVE! and the nuts around the candles in the clear vases..Love! Did you know the wheat sheaf represents Abundance or a plentiful and rich harvest??? My kids used to go out and cut any branches left with colorful leaves and they would go in a pitcher, and if there was nandina branches with red berries - that came in too. :-) They colored and cut out turkeys for name placecards.. so fun. such memories....missing... sniff.sniff...Yes Tete those droopy drawers do disappear out of the house toooo fast. Hugs to you, and thanks for all the THANKSGIVING eye candy inspiration...Gosh, time is flying...too fast...Have fun tonite.. hugs

Tete- You found some great examples of easy to do things. I love several of them. They all have one thing in common to me...they feel homey and welcoming. Love the little pumpkin candleholder and the candles stuck in nuts--lots of nuts around here to stick candles in..oh wait...that might be illegal here...not sure.

Yes...In two weeks we will have had a new baby- Thanskgiving- a couple weeks stay at my daughters and I will be home exhausted. I can't wait to be exhausted! xo Diana

Love the 'Haystack' idea. Our holiday decorating usually involves a turkey in the middle of the table, and several waiting impatiently for that first slice.

Hi Tete, You found some very cute decor. I love the wheat in the first photo, also really like the bittersweet. Are you hosting Thanksgiving? I am and my menu is planned. I have lots to be thankful for. God bless you, Tete; you are very inspiring!
