forgotten dreams...

left behind...
forgotten...
through time...
discarded...
what was once filled with laughter...
tears...
hopes...
dreams...
became no longer needed...
empty...
decay...
earthly...

not eternal...
where are your dreams?
here?
or there?
on earth where all things pass away?
or in heaven, where the soul never dies?

empty shells left behind, no longer needed...
gone HOME, to a better place...

what will become of our dreams when we go to the other side?
if they are earthly...
they will crumble...
and be forgotten...

so...
how much time do we spend putting energy into something that will crumble...
compared to what we put into something that will never fade away?...
where are you storing up your treasures?
here?
or there?

in 100 years...
what will be left of  your energy now?
your time?
here...
and there...

God bless and have a wonderful Sunday...

Oh what stories those houses could tell, if they had a chance to talk.

And on your Happy Saturday post, wouldn't that be a lovely bathroom, and I love the floors.

There are many of those empty houses here in Hunterdon County. I always wonder who lived there and what caused their homes to rest in such demise. I always want to walk through them and see if I can find remnants of good times and memories..

I am always so sad to see a house like those...I do think about the laughter. Sometimes I feel guilty that 1515 is not lived in everyday, BUT OH, when we are there we live, laugh and love! So hopefully that makes up for it.

Have a bless day my friend!

Houses here that once held love, and happiness, along with tears, and heart ache.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.
Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the lamb.
THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!!!

My heart hurts for those forgotten property. I want to save them all. My Old Historic House, looked somewhat like that when I got it. Loved the music. Richard
