something to think about...

winter is the time to plan ahead...
just look at this porch...
awesome, huh?
cozy...
THE place to be on a summer's night...
another cozy little front porch idea...
shabby...
fun...
this shows its not the amount of space you have, but what you do with it...
another fun space, but I think I would only have pots on one side, so there is room to sit on the steps...
do you do that?
just sit on the steps?
awe, what a space to read, relax and daydream...
bring on the sunsets!
talk about romance...
shabby quaint does it for me...
love the outdoor mantle...
and check this out...
love the teal gems here...
a splash of color for all those white rooms that are out there...
this would sure go with all those vintage jars at the Lakehouse...

are you planning for spring as the snow flies?
I am...
so, what are your dreams?

Happy Saturday to You, Tete.... I am sure thinking about Spring, I was thinking of putting one of those count down things on my blog~ I Love those porch ideas, and perfect for me, I have a tiny area of a porch which is about 5" x 6" last year I had that old Pink iron table & chairs, but I sold that in the fall, so now to start Fresh! I need some ideas! I guess a day of looking on Pinterest maybe in order for the day~
What are Your new ideas for Spring?
Thanks for the Idea...
Stay Warm

you have me missing my porch sitting and our neighborhood wine porch parties!

about the house on Jackson in Charleston...it is sitting empty. Had a for sale sign for awhile but not now? I tried to get my cousin to buy it and move into town from the country! LOL

What beautiful porches, Tete. I love them...I really love them ALL...but I would love hearing the ocean in that last one.

We have a very sweet front porch that we never use because it faces the street and not the Bay. In retrospect I wish the porch was on the back side of the house. The girls do use the front porch swing on nice days-especially when waiting for Mom to arrive to pick them up.

I did not know that phrase was in the Bible that many times...so true how many times fear immobilizes us, isn't it? xo Diana

Okay Sweetie, I've downloaded Google Chrome, and things seem to be working now. I thought I did it the other day, but my other server was blocking it I guess???? Thank you for being the computer guru that you are. What would I do without you to always rescue me??
ALL of these porches are maaavelous...and yes, that chandy would definitely match the jars here at the old lakehouse...perfect!
Smooches to you girlfriend.

*~Love~* this post about porches...Got ALL the snow scooped and swept off the screened porch today.- pushed stuff to the middle and have all the fabric pieces inside.
Kurt said he would put up plastic before we get another snow...YAY! I sure don't want to do this every single time a blowing snow comes...and the way the winds blow continuously here in Iowa...I am believin' that the snow must be horizontal EVERY time! I will be pushing him to go get that plastic THIS week. I do so love all the pics you posted....can't wait to work on the porch when Spring gets here. Didn't really give it any attention this Fall moving in, because it was back burner and low priority. Just placed the furniture out there that was designated "porch". Anticipating working on it and getting some plants out there, candles...source of music, and looking (thrifting) for a small table and chairs for us to eat out there...yeah I'm dreamin'...and yes we DID sit on our front porch steps in Charlotte. Here I only have one step...so probably wouldn't, but there is space for a bench on the front porch...hmmmmmmmm.....
Hugs to you Tete. ENJOYED! xoxo

Well, you know I want that pink porch with the Victorian screen but they are all fabulous inviting retreats. And the bling is a new color ...can you imagine the drizzles of aqua sparkling from your chandie.

Beautiful places, inticing share ... guess I'll have to rely upon Calgon ...

Have a great eve ~

I love those porches, especially the one with the pink flowers! But, yes, I agree with you - I'd have pots only on one side! I found you through NanaDiana. I'm your newest follower!
