angels...

thank you, Lord, for sending angels to keep us safe here below...
yesterday morning we woke to a small 2 inch snow...
nothing major in this neck of the woods...
but my DH hit a patch of it yesterday morning on his way to work...
and he ended up in the ditch on the other side of the road heading back in the other direction...
he didn't roll it...
the car stayed upright...
he didn't have his seat belt on...
but he is fine...
the car is fine...
and the license plate bent back into shape fine...
blessed beyond measure...
that I still have him...

but I do need your prayers today for my family...

my cousin lost his daughter yesterday...
on Valentine's Day...

5 days before her 28th birthday...
I have no details at all except that...
her mom found her unresponsive Sunday night...
and that yesterday, my cousin, Bob and his wife had to make the decision to terminate her life...
its been 30 years since I have seen Bobby...
so I never met his baby girl...
but we have a group on facebook...
and we try to stay connected with it...
something my cousins and I can't do physically because we are scattered all over the US...
but I do know they are hurting...
and that this is going to be one of the hardest things they will have to face in their lives...
your prayers would help so much...

even with all of that going on...
knowing that God has a plan...
my family is still blessed beyond our wildest dreams...
and we are forever in His care...

Good Morning Tete Sweetie...
Oh my yes the angels were there for your DH yesterday. I am sure they held onto that vehicle tightly, slowing it to a safe place in the road. Thank goodness sweet friend.

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin's daughter. I will be sending some prayers for them sweet friend. To terminate ones child, oh how horrible to be faced with such a decision. God Bless them and comfort them in this time of need.

Please take care sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Oh my friend...I so understand the horror of an accident. Someone hit my hubby's parked truck about 10 days ago on the same night our SIL crashed his car with our daughter and g-daughter inside. Both are totaled but everyone is ago. So glad your beloved is fine....

God is so good. Isn't He? A blessing to read your words.

I'm sorry for the loss of your cousin's daughter. That is a paint I pray I will never experience. Thoughts and prayers today for your family.

Love, Rebecca

Glad DH is ok! Now make that man wear his seat belt!!!

So sorry about your cousins daughter. For those that complain about Facebook, it is a great way to keep in touch with family.

Tete....It breaks my heart to hear about your cousin. I remember the scene in Lord of the Rings trilogy where Gandalf was standing listening to Theoden mourn and weep at the grave of his son Boromir...He stated " No parent should ever have to bury their child"...That line and scene has just stuck in my head...SO deep...I cried...it's true. I will say prayers for them all....So relieved that all is well on the home front. Wrecks are so scary and bring your heart into your throat when you get the call. God is good. ***WEAR THAT SEATBELT to da man!!!! ;-) Hugs to you Tete. Hope you are having an up week from the past ones...**We may not be able to stay in close proximity to those we would like to touch, but PRAYER is the BEST and most Gracious gift we can offer up....xoxoxo

Glad that Steve wasn't injured and the car stayed upright.
