call me crazy...

but cleaning out flower beds and weeding are a couple of my favorite things to do...
so, we started out like this...
and a couple swipes later, we found these...
peonies...
at this rate, there won't be any left for Memorial Day...
a few piles of this...
and a few shadows off and on...
and another area looking better...
day lilies and iris...
look- someone has moved in...
Bebe, fresh and clean from a bath, rolling in anything he can...
our skies were partly cloudy to mostly cloudy and at just above 80...
the shady times felt really good...
and our sunset last evening...
well, that's all folks...

You're crazy! No, actually I enjoy cleaning up the gardens too. Actually my body doesn't like it, but my eyes do! It's been in the 70s and 80s for two weeks now. Our normal is 48. Still afraid that there's a snowstorm in our future....

Hi Tete, I think part of enjoying garden clean up is all the little surprises that greet us. I found it interesting how you noted ..."there will not be any peonies left for Memorial Day." Do you use peonies for grave decoration? That's what we've typically used.
Have a glorious day!

Good Morning Tete Sweetie...
What a beautiful share this morning. I am just like you, I love digging in the earth and cleaning and planting. I find myself smiling and happy inside. Then, when we stand up and see all of our progress and it looks so colorful and pretty, we just feel so good. It is kind of like Spring cleaning outdoors. I love it.

Your gardens are so beautiful. Many thanks for the share this morning. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Missing my evenings sitting on the porch. I always knew you were crazy, but if you are so am I. I really have not done any...seems everytime Mr and I dust ourselves off and try to get things better..something bad knocks us down again. :(

Hi Tete,

Happy 1st day of Spring... your garden is looking wonderful, we are still behind you in the growing end, yet will be 80 today... It is just Crazy~ I am still holding my breath on having more Snow! March came in like a Lamb so it will probably go out like a LION ~ but just in case, I am moving a shelving unit out to the tiny deck area I have, I am going to use it as a potted bench & grow some small yet Pretty things.... Have a wonderful day, don't forget to rest a bit in between all your weeding~ xox

Hey Tete! Guess what? I like weeding and cleaning out the beds too, at least in the Spring! Once June rolls around, it's just too stinkin hot here in Charleston to work outside too long!

Ok, so you'd rather be called "Crazy", than "Tete", is that right? (wink, wink!). So envious of your warm temps, unreal! It's colder than normal and rainy here, brr! Bebe looks like He is enjoying himself, too! Have a great day! I can't wait to work in my flower beds when we move home, I imagine they are a disaster at this point!!

Did you say to call you CRAZY? Well, let me be the last in line! I've been gone all day but back in time to call you CRAZY. However, I must say that YOUR crazy has produced some pretty good results...your beds are looking grand! xo Diana
