early this morning, just after breakfast...
those are tiny little leaves!
the late thunderstorms that buzzed through left us with 3/10 of an inch of rain...
just enough to get things popping again...
high of 80 today...
our nights have been so warm!
everything was still damp this morning...
even the eggs...
I have never seen a spring like this one...
and I just love it!
then after lunch, we went out and started working...
more leaf removal...
look at the iris!
Boofy helping a little...
tulip...
white crocus...
the rain beat the other ones down pretty good, but we had new ones open up today...
most of them have been this color...
then we went for a walk and the magnolia tree is in full bloom...
it smells so good!
and another neighbor has a pear tree...
and boy, does it smell so sweet...
ok- this is a bird bath that I got over a month ago...

but it has a lot of gold on it...
so a can of fusion for plastic krylon paint...
and the gold is gone...
white this time...
later, I will paint it black...
and the fence sections went up today...
we have 3 more we need to put together to finish the job...
that's a summer project for this year...
still waiting on the deck...
I want it done...
so I can play there...
I would love to sit outside more...
but there isn't any shade yet!
and it can get a little warm in the sun...
not that I am complaining...
tank tops, shorts and flip flops here!
we could have a week of rain coming this way...
I don't mind at all...
it makes things grow!
still need to call the mower guy!

Just got home-been running all day. We went and watched Lulu play basketball. She did really great but had a bad nosebleed after the game. She is prone to them but still distressing for her.
It is warm here, too..about 80 also. We have never had a Spring like this either. Nothing blooming yet but the ice is all gone off the bay and the grass has a cast of green to it.
I am so glad that you are enjoying your fine weather. Promise me you won't overdo though! The fence looks great and I am excited for you to get your deck. You sooo deserve that! Love ya- Diana
Everything is greener here to. I actually had to mow earlier this week. After the rain we had here the grass is so green. You are right, I cannot remember a Spring like this. Just Beautiful! Love all your flowers and the trees....

Butterflies and tiny frogs and lots of honey bees have shown up here. We've been running the fan at night. Maple trees in full leaf already.
We are at least 2 weeks earlier than normal.
Spring has truly arrived very early here .. so enjoying this heat! All the critters are busying their selves for the summer, the birds are nesting ... the flowers are blooming their little britches off. Fabulous!
