Memorial Day...

Happy Memorial Day...
always remembering the ones who gave it all and the ones who fought and are still fighting for our freedom...

doing better today...
lavender and mums...

slow starting but tackled...
and I mean tackled...
the hall way and Craig's bathroom today...

but this morning I ate breakfast outside...

looking at these...

there it is, I think as far as its going to open...

I love this tiny little pink rose...

she is so pretty and old fashioned looking...

this is our new picnic table...
6 foot...
love it...
and it folds up to store...

roses are blooming in the mother's garden...

just in time for them if they come to visit...

the lilies have just exploded the last couple of days by the shed...

love these, too...

I wonder what will happen to all of this when we are gone...

will someone else come along and love them too?

the yard is dying...
so brown...
we are so in need of rain...
we have a chance this week, but not a good one...
we have another day of 90s...
all weekend of it...
pppffffff...
that's what I think of that...
cooler tomorrow, though...
but we have no humidity so no heat advisories...
yeah...
I can handle dry heat...
we are staying in between 2-5pm...
walking after dark is more fun anyway...

Bleu Belle is doing very good...
momma is still hiding on us, but she is eating and drinking...
with us working on that part of house today might have spooked her again...
we have time...
the baby is safe and gaining...

I have scrubbed and scrubbed and I think I over did it- again...
but 6 months ago...
I couldn't have done all of this...
so its a good day...
lost 2 more pounds...
yippee...

so all is well here...
you all have a great rest of the day...
I know most will be heading back to work tomorrow...
I think DH is looking forward to it...
being home too long with us slow folk and all...
but we sure got him to work this time...
;)

Sounds like you are having a good day, Tete! So glad! I am so thankful that you are able to get things done again and not in such a way that you can't do anything. It feels good, doesn't it?

Your flowers are gorgeous and just think soon you will have your new deck to sit out on and enjoy your view. Blessings- xo Diana

Beautiful photos as usual. I borrowed that card awhile back, and am keeping it, you can't have it back, lol.
Glad you feel better, and little one is better, too. Mom should be calming down a bit, soon.

Tete...Good Tuesday morning! just got here to catch up. Everything is gorgeous as usual...and so sad about the kittens...Dang...you watch Craig's finger VERY VERY closely! He probably should go get an antibiotic shot and hope his tetanus is up to date...If it is still swelling and red...do it PRONTO!...I know you know this probably, but cat bites are 20 times worse than a dog bite and if they hit a vein and get in the blood system...danger! happened to my cousin and to Kurt. Kurt caught his in time, my cousin didn't and ended up in the hospital and with IV's. It can affect the heart! so just concerned when cats are involved in a bite or scratch!! Hugs to you!! xoxo
