another rainy day...

deck guys have been here twice now...
in between the rains...
they got the frame work up for the roof the first time...

but the skies are still gray...

and they reworked the steps...
we had a hard time going down them over the weekend and they had a hard time coming up them this morning...
so this is what they came up with and got it done the second time back...
they work...

the roof will go on next...
either this afternoon or in the morning...
depending on if the skies drop more rain or not...
we will just have to wait and see...

at least we don't have to water today...

if fact, we haven't watered for several days...

taking it easy today...
I am so glad the weekend is over...
did a little too much...

Craig hosed off the sawdust so we wouldn't drag it into the house...
we need more pavers and gallon of paint for the steps...
the rest of the deck needs to rest for one year before we paint it...
son, very soon, I will be sitting out here...

Tete- I just got home a while ago. The new baby came home today and I went over there for a few hours and we had a funeral up on Washington Island. I am beyond beat so I will catch up with you tomorrow I love your porch even if it isn't all done yet. Can't wait to see it finished.

Is that going to make it really dark in your front room-the covered porch? I'll find out tomorrow-xo Diana

I love it, and you know how to bring on the rain, just start a project outside.

Send those deck guys down here, I need to have some work done on the front porch.

It just keeps getting better!! Soon, very soon...never seems to get here fast enough...some days. Glad for the rain, I am sure, but why does it always seem to come when you least want it to...and NOT when you MOST want it to?? LOL...Looking for that picture of you with a glass of lemonade in one hand, Bebe in your lap, and a magazine with Jonny Depp's face on the front...just chillin' on the NEW deck...yep I'm seeing it in your near future....the DECK DIVA, Large Sunhat and Big dark shades, giving landscaping orders to her men...heh heh.... :-) {{hugs to you Tete}} xoxo
