DH and I went to get an icy and then drove around a bit...
the old high school is completely gone and the land has been leveled...
soon the new high school will be opening its doors...
now you can see all the way to the football field score board...
no water has come over the dam in a long while...
cows are huddled under the shade trees that line their pasture...
along a creek bed...

it was a nice drive...
we had the windows down and it never did get too hot...
we missed all the rain that went through last night...
figures, huh?
today's the Kroger/ Walmart run day...
need to stock up on supplies again...
we are back to the mid 90s again...
was really nice to have a day in the 80s...

An Icee sounds so good about now.
Isn't it sad that the school is now completely gone.
We had one here in town that they razed that had been a women's college back in the day.
It is sad to think that old school is all gone now. I hate when they change our old towns to mark progress. It just saddens me somehow. I love all your pictures, Tete. Blessings to you- xo Diana
