winter storm...

ho, ho, ho...
its winter time here on the prairie...
the winds are just howling...
we are only supposed to get a half an inch of snow...
but we have white out conditions, the roads are slick...
wrecks everywhere and they are telling us to all stay home..
so, here I am...

since I couldn't go out and look at lights...
I found some awesome ones online...
so sit back and pretend we are cruising around town...

oohing and awing at all this splender...

I hope you brought your cup of hot chocolate with you...

I got the cookies...

isn't this cute?
and you could do it any time of the year...

and the thoughts for today...
;)
stay warm and cozy...

I don't envy you the bad weather, we had wind today, with limbs and trees down close to us. But we are warm, and enjoying the nice snug house.

Those lights you found online are absolutely beautiful, Tete. I am glad you are warm and safe. It is still storming here but it is mixed with rain so I don't know how much we will get- about 6" so far. xo Diana

Great photos, Tete! I love the Mason jars with the lights, what a great idea. So far we've just been getting lots of rain all day, and really windy. But now there is a light dusting of snow. Hope there is no ice! Stay warm and snug and safe:)

Tete, I love looking at the lights on all the pretty houses. Yes, staying home when it's bad out is a good idea. I am one who will not go out shopping when the weather's bad...cause for too many years I had to struggle getting to and from work...and if I ever got stuck for shopping, I'd be so mad at myself. LOL Stay warm and safe. xoxo,Susie

that wind was something else! I bet if there was much snow it was a mess. I love driving around and looking at the lights.

Beautiful light show! We got 12" of snow yesterday. I feel very badly for people who are without power, as it is really cold too! We are grateful to have power and internet and cable so life continues as normal, albeit staying inside the house!
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
