just a peek...

just wanted to show you the progress...

the mantle top is finally done...
at least until Valentine's day is over...

and a tiny peek at the banner...
waiting on the glue to dry...

and then I will take off the clothes pins...
and adjust the banner...
I am thinking I need to pull it up a bit higher...
if you use card stock for the backer board on these...
its thin enough to curl up slightly on the ends...
and no 2 come out the same way...
so it actually looks like its flapping in the breeze...

we started out with sleet before noon, but its rain now...
they are talking like we might get 2 inches between today and Saturday...
we could use the rain...
been real dry again this fall and winter...
the grass is greening up...

Bebe got a hair cut around his face and ears...
then I trimmed his paws...
muddy weather, you know...
then a bath and a clean muscle man t-shirt...
(they are onesees, but don't tell him that)
and then a doggie treat...
so he's a happy camper, nappin' on the sofa...

I haven't had my nap yet...
but we are creating spaghetti...
so you know I have to wait to see how that goes...
hope you are having a good day...
Craig and I are doing better...
the colds are still there...
but today, we are winning!
we even got dressed...
imagine that...
and a loving thought for today...
that is, if you like your hubby...
LOL
;)
