my dad is in the arms of Christ...

God called my dad home this morning...

and I know he is busy hugging Christ with all he has in him...

he was so tired and weary...
this life was so hard at the end...

but he is laughing and smiling and dancing around now...
something he hasn't been able to do for so long...
he is happy now...

I am so grateful that God took him out of here and out of that body he was trapped in...
its been way too long and far too much...
but please pray for my step mom with all you have in you...
she is having a hard time letting go...
he was her world and she took such good care of him...
and she loved him so...

thank you all for all your prayers for my dad through all of his illnesses and trips to the hospitals...
its easy letting him go when all he had was suffering here...
and I will see him again...
soon enough...
he's is such a lovely place with his parents, brothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles...
and my sister...
there are so many that love him on the other side...
join me in rejoicing his homecoming...
another preacher called home!
can I get an amen?
;)

What a lovely post and so sentimental, but very realistic of what was best for your dear and handsome dad. The memorie photos are so lovely! Tears came down my eyes, as I miss my dad every single day for 16 years; since he died when he was so healthy..he was 78 and had a heart attack in the myocardio..so instantly and puff, he was gone! Many blessings for you and your family and my deepest condolences.

Amen, Tete. He was a handsome man. I know that the man you knew was "gone" a long time ago. He is now dancing with the angels-xo Diana

I will say Amen Tete as you asked. In a second of his passing his soul went to be with the Lord.

Only the empty corrupted shell remains on earth in passing for everyone who is a believer of Christ. The soul then departs to go with Christ .

He was a handsome man indeed your Dad but he is in the arms of the Heavenly Father. What a better place he is in.

I will keep his wife in prayers for sure.
