hope your weekend is a good one for you...

the third row of bean greens are up and growing with all the rain and cooler weather...

baby garden spider has set up housekeeping right in front of the scarecrow...

things are coming along and we have another cloudy, dreary and humid morning here...

hosta...

sweet pea...

cone flowers...

Pooder...in trouble again...

knock out rose...

ferns and hygrangea...

then the light was coming in so nice yesterday evening that I just shot a few things...

Craig is working today...

Doug and his friend, Paula, are coming up for supper tonight...

got some house cleaning to do before they get here...

see, I have a rooster here...

our neighbor's working on Oakland's first fire truck...
1934...
they had to get the radiator fixed, put it back in and had it running last night...

she has been stored for years...
I started posting for donations last night to help them with the costs...
the goal is to get her up and running for parades...
;)
and to save a piece of local history...

this is the 'NOW' project!
turning it pink...
the rear end is so messed up, it will hardly roll...
going to take the seat off...
and keep painting it until its all pink...
too damp this morning to add another layer...
you know how that goes...
;)

well, off to try to be productive here...
wish me luck...

Pretty slow blogland Saturday- Think everyone is outside enjoying Summer. Got a kick out of Pooder...every family needs one "naughty one". I have several but they only have two legs. Everything is looking lush and green, Tete.

I have a question for you- in the picture of they hydrangea- is that hills in the far background? For some reason I think of you as being completely flat landed there- xo Diana

May be a tree line, Diana.
I love how the sunlight plays with things, and makes them look different.

I want to see that firetruck fully restored to it's former glory.
