a good day...

a swallowtail catapillar...
isn't it pretty?
in the radish and carrot greens...

so we began this morning taping off and painting...
that is until Myra decided to move the babies...
Craig noticed only 3 babies on his way out the door...
so we had to do a search and rescue, so we got a later start...
but this was my job...

and the railing...
the guys took to the ladder and the high places...

the deck and steps will be stained later on...

along with the rafters...
its going to look so good when we get it finished...

Myra hid the baby under Craig's bed...
and that's not a good thing...
you would think the place would have scared her off...
we turned the heating pad off and I think they were getting too warm...
so she wanted them out of there...
things are good now...

we painted until noon, did lunch and then started in on our bedroom and master bath...
that took a bit...
curtains washed, but not the walls...
that will come later...
and want to knock the bed down and clean under, behind and all of that...
but that can be done in the winter...

heading back out to the deck in the morning to work again until it gets too hot...
I would like to get this knocked out this weekend...
but things don't always go as planned...
;)
heading out for a walk now...
saw a major shooting star last night, so maybe I will see one again...

I am so happy that you are getting so much done, Tete. It is looking really good so far. Nice and fresh and crispy-clean looking. Glad you found the kitty and hope she doesn't try to move them again.
Hope you see another shooting star-that's good luck you know- o Diana

Tete, My gosh, you guys are doing serious work. Be careful in the heat. This morning here is heavenly ....suppose to get hot today and this coming week. If I lived near by, I would come help paint. xoxo,Susie

Tete, I am trying to catch up with friends. You have been very busy and we both have been having really hot weather right now. I wish we would get some rain, but that is not possible. I enjoy reading your blog. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

Aren't cats just the weirdest things, they feel the need to move babies, even when they are putting them in danger.
