before the storm hits...

we got up to a balmy 34F today...

with plenty of sunshine...

but sometime later today...

its all going the change...

the winds are already making drifts on the east west roads...

so when more snow comes...

there will be no getting around...

Mr. Wiggles is not happy with the snow now...
just wait, buddy, its gonna get better...

the corn field...

squirrel tracks under the walnut tree...
they are all over the yard...

see...

not bad out today, but its going to get so bitter cold here by Monday...
we think we will be snowed in at least 3 days from this...
so, hunker down...
and stay put...
make sure you have all your shopping done ahead of the storm...
and shovel out around any fire hydrants...
just in case they are needed...
oh, what a wonder time spring will be...
I am just ready to see 40F again...
that would be enough to melt this off...
but I know the nitrogen from all the snow will make the flowers so pretty...
and the bitter cold will kill so many of those crazy bugs...
I think its time to pull out the boggle game...
;)

OH-Yeah- You got snow and more snow coming. You have a good attitude about it anyway, Tete. Hope the boys can get out to go to work on Monday. No snow coming here but bitter, bitter cold. GREAT pictures- xo Diana

Hi Tete, The snow is coming down with the temperature falling. It is going to be bitter cold for the next couple of days. Some have already called off school. It was 36 this morning when I was out to buy some groceries. I love the pictures. Just stay warm and safe. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri friend.

We are in for the same storm here, Tete! We were a balmy low 30's today, it felt like a heat wave after our deep freeze. Supposed to get 8-10 inches by tomorrow night, and back to below zero, yikes! Your gorgeous rose background is making me wish for spring:) Keep warm and snug!

Oh.....I am sooooo over this winter...and it's only begun. Ugh. We're ready for the next storm and won't be going out anywhere. We'll be stuffing more insulation around the walls in our old basement to help keep our pipes from freezing again. Guess it'll be a good time to get some in-house projects done. :) Stay warm and cozy, Tete. :)
