the bad part is about to begin...

12 hours of snow= 10 inches on top of what we had...

it was so beautiful...

but now the winds are blowing roads shut...

roads and highways are closed...

they have pulled the plows off the roads...

we are to have wind chills of up to -40 through noon Tuesday...

pray that the power stays on for everyone...

and no one has to hit the er...

getting them there may be impossible...

pray for the homeless out in this...

and all the animals and birds...

Craig walked up town today and took these wonderful photos...

it was still in the 20s then...

I am so ready to see Wednesday dawning...

and I hope we don't have another one like this for a long, long time...

stay in, stay warm, stay safe...

know where your emergency warming shelters are...

and pray for others who have to go out in this...
God, keep us all safe...
;)

Isn't this just brutal, Tete? Did you know this is the same weekend that the blizzard of 1978 occurred? Weird. We plowed/shoveled once this morning and right now, it doesn't look like we did anything. We're just going to hang out inside, wait out the storm by getting some projects done, and.....dream of spring. :) Stay safe and warm, sweetie!

Hi Tete, I know I am crazy, but I love the winter pictures. Yours are so pretty. I don't like the cold. You have more snow then we do, but they are closing a lot of things because of the bitter cold. I was out to get some groceries before this last round of snow came. We don't have as much as you, but it has been blowing and drifting again. They cleaned my driveway again. Stay warm and safe. Prayers and Hugs From Your Missouri Friend.

First of all....LOVE the roses on your page...just beautiful!!!
I drove home in this storm today.
The girls, and I met in Frankenmuth for the weekend. We stayed at a B&B for my birthday, and shopped. We really had a good time together. God got us all home safe. Now we will wait this out for the next couple of days.
Your photos are great! Looks the same up here!!
Stay warm, dear friend.
Much love to you.

Teresa,
Would it be possible to borrow a couple of your pictures? I would like to use the one from Birkey's and the ones from the Rutherford House. If it's ok can you just email them to me.
Thank you very much,
Kathy
