been there, done that...

well, the EZ Clinic wouldn't do anything about the blood sugar, so DH went one way and I got pushed to the ER...
but I did get to watch tv in there...
HGTV with Scott of Income Property....
took all morning...
but got my antibiotics and the metformin...
thank you, Dr Ernest!

neither one of us had had anything to eat yet and it was after 12...
so what could I eat with my blood sugar over 200?
we got fish sandwiches and I tossed the bun...
plain...
but it worked...
we had dropped off the scripts at Walmart before coming here...
knowing they take a long time...
then we ate in the Kroger parking lot...
then we shopped...
I rode in one of those carts and it had a big basket on it...
we got everything in it without DH having to try to push a cart one handed...

this old station is on the edge of town...
they sell 'anitques'...
my friends have told me not to bother even stopping...
that none of us can afford the prices...
and from the outside stuff...
I think they are right when they say its a junk pile...
they were cleaning it up today...
you should have seen it before...
I imagine the city got on them about it...
imagine 20 times more crap out there...
day and night, year after year...
not pretty...

so, I have taken a metformin and just waiting for it to kick in...
DH got antibiotics and cough medicine with codeine...
Dr Ernest thinks its just the infection, too and will drop back down as soon as the meds kick in...
about 3 days from now...
;)
see, I went...
I love it when my blogging buddies chew me out!
it means you care!
Love you all!

Oh Tete, so glad to hear you are back home. Hang in there and rest up so you can enjoy all the green coming in a few weeks. That winter brown will turn green and days will be warmer, sunnier, ahhhhh... now doesn't that feel better?
Do what the doctor says and I will be back to check on you.

Yepppp, it's damn-straight-good that you went to get medical info and insight, and meds!!!! Both of you!!!!! And know, that I'll chew you out again, if you let up on your New Wonderful And Smart Health Care. Grrrr....

Yes ding-dang-it!!! If you care, you tell it like it is. And I did. And you still love me. :-)

I chewed you out so much, to (pharmacist) husband, when I read your earlier post, that I now have to go tell him, that you were WISE. Yessss!!!! He'll be glad, because when I get riled up, like that, my blood pressure goes up! -chuckle-

So seeeeee! You did me a favor too, by going to a doc! Aren't you double-proud of yourself, now????>

HUGS,
Tessa~
