it is so beginning to look like fall...

its been feeling like it for weeks...

the temps have been up and down and all around...

but it is finally starting to really look like fall now...

we still have blooms here and there...

the walnuts are almost completely bare now...

Hermie was nappin' on the porch today...

rose moss is dormant now...
but the rest is still going...
I wonder how big the carrots got this year?

snap dragons...

marigolds...

got a bit of rain sometime last night again...

they picked the corn field at the end of the street today...
glad I got these before they hit it...

a couple of nuts...
live here...

the leaves are beginning to turn...

the autumn clematis bloomed and then started dying out...
but its come back again...

and where do you hide your nuts?
we hide ours in the flower beds...
so the squirrels can find them, even in the winter...

it was a good day to be home alone...
spent some time with the kitties...
they will be leaving this week and I will be packing up the kitty stuff until spring...
I need a break...
;0)
hope you had a good day...

It sure looks pretty around your place, Tete. Leaves turning, nuts falling, cats napping, and fall decorations adorning benches...beautiful.
A right happy place to be.
Love you girl.

it's good to know, when you need a break... From the fostering kitties.

Enjoy the rest. you know you'll be back to it, eventually. :-)

Tete, I love your pictures as usual. That's a good idea for the nuts to be where the squirrels can find them. I want to hug Herme the cat so much. That bumpy pumpkin looks great where you have it. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
