yesterday's fun...

had to go out and feed the birds yesterday, so stuck my camera in my pocket...
roses on the first of November...

the yard looks like a combination of spring and fall this year...

the mower guy came and I had him blow all the leaves into the beds...

and I am hoping that's the last time until next spring...
but you never know...
this is all frosted white right now...
29 for a low...

the guys are both working today, too...
so another home alone day...

snap dragons, carrots and rose moss...

and more roses...

this bush needs some trimming come spring...

not in favor of this colder weather, but what will be will be...
and I am too poor and too old to pack it all up and head south...

the mums are doing really good...
that's those 98 cent ones I got from walmart last year...

my favorite of all the mums...
it will be time to dig and divide them next spring...
I need some out front, just to line the walk...
maybe some in the side yard and the island, too...

so, did you get an extra hour of sleep last night?
I didn't...
just got up an hour earlier...
;0)
oh, well...
I am saving that extra hour for nap time...
hope y'all have a blessed day and that the sun is shining where you are...
its bright and cheery here...
and we will be in the 60s tomorrow...
so working outside to get things pulled and put away...
and dig out the snow shovels...
I think naps on the deck are over with...
;0)
for me anyway...
the cats still curl up out there...

Tete, There was a rose on the bush that I tend for my daughter, till she can come fetch it. It had been snowed on Friday, but was so beautiful yesterday...I cut it and some white mums and made a nice bouquet. Took a photo on my phone and texted it to my Kathy....she thanked me. I told her that was hers and this is how I could send it to her. LOL. Never dreamed I'd be texting as I hate phones. We better enjoy all this glorious sunshine. I know it can not last. I love that you still have flowers too. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

Those roses are gorgeous and so are the mums. I am glad you got some warmer weather and could get out in it to get a few things done. I worked outside here for several hours today, too. STill more to do but I have made a dent in it.
Happy Sunday to you- xo Diana

We got a killing frost last night, the dahila's are dead. Some things are ok still. Looks so pretty in your yard even if it is November!

You have some pretty images, Tete. My favorites are the first one and the one with the carrot foliage. With the weather, guess we just go with the flow...we can't change it so might as well make the best of it.
