lady down...

and its not me!
what a beautiful day...
until you stepped outside...
29 for a low last night and sure didn't feel warm at all yesterday...

I am not sure it was even up to the mid 50s by afternoon...
but a high of 62 today, so should be better...

the leaves are turning and falling here and there...
the nuts are all picked up now...

I think it frosted, but not sure...
we had wind...
but it did nip a few things...

the rest of the week will be in the 70s...
Indian Summer!
and these once beautiful pots are getting dumped and put up for winter...
I might fill the basket hangers with walnuts or leaves this year...
greenery after Thanksgiving...

still have most of the leaves on the trees here...
but that won't be for long...

sedum turned darker over night, too...

but this really surprised me...
not looking too bad after the cold night and it is not getting watered...
Doug will be here all week to help out and we can knock some of this stuff out pretty quick...
had a rough day yesterday...
just need a day down to re- coup...
those nuts about did me in...
but, do the worst job first and the rest will seem easy...
so that's what I did...
Doug wants to help me get the kitchen done, too...
so will start him on sanding the cabinets...
and we can run and pick up the paint...
;0)
just think...
by the first of the month...
I can have a new kitchen...
;0)
I just have to keep up with feeding the help!

Tete, That is great that your son is willing to help you with your kitchen painting. We had some super chilly temps last night too. The sun is shining. When I went to the mailbox for the paper it was so clear, you could see every star. The farmers are harvesting the corner field of corn. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

:-) May I please complain?

The cute little girl, and the ledge she is sitting on, in your blog look now...... The ledge she is sitting on, shows up, everywhere but where the pics are. So you have to keep reading your words, with that brown ledge behind them. And your words, move over the brown ledge... Or that is the effect of scrolling, anyway.

And the whole process is difficult for me.

Just sayin'....

But boy do I love that little girl's striped stockings!!!!

Brrr....it's been down in the 40's here at night this past week and has rained a couple of times. Still in the low 70's during the day. I'm so not ready for cold weather either.
