some photos from Thursday...

columbine...
is blooming...

the humming birds love them...

the walnuts have finally decided to join the rest of the trees and leaf out...

and as always in a garden...
as one begins, others end...

until next year...

we are getting some shade!

Friday was cool and cloudy...
rain for today...
so not much going on outside...

got the furnace back on...
and the hoodie...
flip flops are idle and socks are a must...
not freezing, but enough to keep you moving...

and it always amazes me  how fast we arrive at the final day of a month...
so long, April...
here comes May...
the 5th month...
amazing...

have a great weekend...

Saturday Blessings to you Tete, I love seeing your Columbine and of course your Tulips. My Tulips are just starting to open, of course while we are having snow. We will be in the 40's until next Wednesday, with some snow and then we'll hit the 70's-yeah! It has been a very long winter here; technically it is spring but we've had more cold days than hot ones. We don't plant here until mid-May for that reason-too much of a chance for snow and frost. This girl is ready for warm days.
Hope yours returns soon.
Hugs,
Noreen

Hi Tete, I know what you are saying about the chilly days. Ted has the furnace back on and set at 65...but it came on twice today. I just wear sweaters and jackets. Crazy weather year for all of the U.S. I do not remember such ups and downs , so much rain , yet not enough for other places. No snow or way too much. I would love a normal year for our summer. It was exciting to see all the flowering trees bloomed out and now they are fading so quickly. Makes me kind of sad. Hope you are feeling well and enjoy some good things. Blessings to all at your house. xoxo, Susie
