but for the most part...
we are still pretty green around here...
it rained pretty much all day yesterday...
and we are back in the 80s here again...
leaves are falling anyway...
just brown ones!
DH worked yesterday...
so, Craig took me out "around the block"...
there is not much left to pick...

I'll bet they're happy to have the sunshine back today...
we saw a lot of tilled ground already...
(that means they are finishing up and the picking corn and cutting beans are done)
our dirt is seriously that black...
grows stuff good!

I am aiming for nap time, now...

Tete, Love the pictures. Yes, it's going up to 84 here today. Very windy tho...so that helps. The Pioneer company is harvesting the big fields of corn near us. All the beans here are in and some corn still down on the east corner. Blessings for a return to fall tomorrow. xoxo, Susie
The weather does not know what the time of year it is anymore. I am sure fall and the cold will get sooner than I want.
Love those pictures! I'm still looking for Fall but we are in the 90's today! Everything is still green, with the exception of the sumac bushes but they turn red before anything else!

Hi Tete, yes I do believe you found fall and photographed it beautifully.
We are still entertaining summer and hope she leaves soon!! So ready for cooler days. Today was near 90 again. Well this is Texas and just the way it is!!

I am back home today and dissapointed I am going to miss the peak of leaves in Charleston. Oh well. I was hot yesterday and Monday night turned on the air at 1515. Come on Fall!
