have you missed this place?

I'll give you one hint...

I love this old jar...
I have had it for years...

its an old Ball...
and with a zinc lid...

a good place to store the small contact paper left overs...
just in case I need it later...

I love the details...

and a little wipe and its clean again...
do you use trays?
I really love them and they are all over the place...

a great place to store a couple of big die cuts...

and a little wipe here and there and these look good again...

even this came out cleaner...
how do I do it, you ask?

with these...
and what are "these"?

ta da...
cheap baby wipes...
they are quilted and really pick up all the dust...
AND...
they work wonderful on wood without taking off any finish...
AND...
they make your hands look great after all that hard work...
(people will think you have a maid)
yep, they will...
:O)
cheap?
how cheap, you ask?
well, you won't believe this one...
but they are 1.85 for 72 butt wipes...
that's a lot of dusting and cleaning in that pack...
you can thank me later...
you're welcome...

now onto more serious things...
wait- don't go...
it's HOT...
we have a warning now until Sunday night...
not an advisory...
a WARNING...
all animals are inside and not happy about it...
not one bird or bug to chase inside!
but they are safe...
I AM INSIDE!

also, an update on my progress...
another bag sitting by the door to go to the landfill...
I hate doing that, but have no place for some of it to go...
just not nice enough to pass on...
I only got a half of bag yesterday afternoon...
so much sorting and reorganizing, though...
but this morning, between breakfast and lunch...
I topped that bag off...
so I am still behind my plan, but another bag is another bag...
I am  sure I will make up for it later when I get to the bigger things...

so, stay inside, if you can...
stay hydrated...
keep an eye on pets and neighbors...
pray the power stays on!

until next time...

Tete, I took many a shower with those kind of wipes while staying at the hospital with Ted. They are okay, but nothing like a real shower. I will try dusting with them...I hate to dust and vacuum worse than any housework. I am glad you got some bags of stuff out of your house. I love that you are a Santa helper. I read the previous post. I remember needing and wanting everyday items as a child. Mommy had too many kids and not enough supplies. LOL. I loved seeing around your property, so pretty and calm. Blessings to you sweet girl. xoxo, Susie

I don't get a chance to come by often and leave comments as taking care of my mom (who now has dementia) takes up a lot of my time. I do enjoy your blog though and hope you will keep it open. I try to post at least once or twice a month now & will try to comment here more often as well.

I use baby wipes to clean a lot too. I love that I am not using chemicals or washing my hands constantly. I buy as many as I did when the girls were little...lol, probably not AS many.
