tis nasty and humid outside during the day...
pretty humid at night...
the a/c is not keeping up with all of it...
need to dig out our dehumidifier...
butternut squash and turnips in the wheel barrow...
laundry today and more tomorrow...
dishes and not one step in the play room...
DH can help me some in there tomorrow...

Tete, We feel the heat as you step out the front door. We bump the temp up on the AC, to try to just be comfortable. The dehumidifier is running in the basement. That does help.We have a couple more days of this predicted for our area. We can't seem to get a nice enough day to just sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air. Hot here too! And humid! We run 2 dehumidifiers in the basement all summer long. They are set to a certain humidity level and go off and on. We have a 2 story house; when the first floor is sufficiently cool, the upstairs is still hot. So, we put portable AC's in the master and guest bedrooms. That works well. We only turn those on when occupying the rooms and since the rooms are small, they cool them down quickly. I'm watering the garden today. Did it earlier in the week but it needs it again.
