I have not begun that yet...
perhaps next month...
I have pretty much given up on tulips here...
either the bunnies or squirrels are digging those up...
they either eat them or plant them somewhere that I don't want them to be...
the fog rolled in yesterday with the melting...
it was very dense...
it has lifted through the night, so today's travelers should be good to go...
the ice and snow all melted...
there is some standing water here and there...
we have rain off and on the rest of the week and warmer days...
just a little break of the cold weather...
have good days...
stay dry!

I remember Mama had red geraniums on her sewing machine. And an aloe plant for when she burned herself in the kitchen. We got boxes of baby chicks delivered in the spring. She put them in a brooder in her chicken coop and fed them water from upside down jars. Spring chickens. When I would complain later in my life about some ache or pain Mama would say, "Well, you're no spring chicken anymore." I would say, "Good thing because you cut off their heads and we ate them!" We would both laugh then. Good memories warm you from the inside out.
