yesterday...
then in the middle of the night while I was surfing the internet...I kept looking at the blank wall...and then I had an idea...of course I wanted to get the guys up and get it done right then...but I have learned from past experiences that this is not always a good thing...and my life would have been on the line...so I waited...which I'm not very good at...but getting better...that and the fact that we have a neighborhood skunk who travels through here at night...which one of my crazy neighbors feeds...commenting on how he likes green grapes...made me wait till daylight...
so this is what happened...
I really like it a lot...
and I thought how pretty it would be at Christmas like this with lights on it...then I thought again...why wait...I have purple Halloween lights...our next project is testing strands of lights we found in a garbage bag in the front bedroom...well, will keep you posted...gotta get moving...Craig is threatening to quit and it's not even lunch time yet... 
well, things are sure different now than they were on Monday...

I have 2 trunks and a few suitcases...I have been collecting them for about 10 years...they hold keepsakes and photos...
this funky green cabinet I got to put in my booths for displaying crafts and later antiques...
there is still room to take a nap...
I found these a long time ago...my mother bought a set like this for me one time and I cried because I thought it was ugly...I wanted another pattern...any other pattern...I still feel bad for crying about it...
these are like the ones I had when I was a kid...match box cars you got at the drug store...

my neighbor gave me this new water fountain for no reason...
cleaning and sorting is hard work...

this is what we started out with today...the overflow of the front bedroom and 3 days of no cleaning up...
couldn't even find the counters...
so we began by moving the desk here...
this is where the desk was...rolled up the old rug...mopped...
flowers Rosie brought me for my birthday yesterday...they smell really good...
and now this afternoon...
just in time to eat supper tonight...but I forgot the lay anything down...and I have no idea what we will be eating...I have got 35 minutes to figure something out...we did pizza last night...tomorrow is the rest of the living room and the laundry area...
