I need your opinion...

what do you think of these photos...
and be brutally honest...
these were taken with Craig's girlfriend's camera...
these are all straight out of the camera with no touch ups at all...
I can see a major difference, but can you tell these from all of the others I have posted?...
not only do I think the pics are clearer...
but the colors are better...
just look at this one...
and here...
I shot some inside and some out...
so is it time to retire my old buddy?...
it's 10 years old...
and I have taken thousands of shots with this...
and it was a pretty good camera in it's day...
I am so torn...
I like comfortable...
I do not like change...
I do not toss things aside just because they are older...
so, if you would let me know what you think...
I would so appreciate it...

I am so sad...

MY CAMERA IS NOT WORKING!...
I CALLED CANON AND THEY ARE SENDING AN EMAIL WITH THE POSTAGE AND I HAVE TO MAIL IT BACK TO THEM AGAIN...
DID THIS A FEW YEARS AGO- THE CENSOR WAS RECALLED...
ALL I HAVE IS A BLACK SCREEN...
SO THEY ARE GOING TO FIX IT AGAIN...
FOR FREE...
BUT IT WILL BE ABOUT 10 DAYS...
I KNOW I NEED THERAPY...
IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG 10 DAYS...
NEED IT BACK FOR THANKSGIVING DINNER AT LEAST...
CRAIG'S GIRLFRIEND HAS A CAMERA, SO MAYBE SHE WILL SHOOT THINGS FOR ME UNTIL I GET MINE BACK....
WWWWWAAAAAHHHHH!

Yesterday was great!

we were all here...
watching tv...
eating...
nappin...
rearranging...
it was good...
the chillier weather has come and it so feels like fall now...
the kids and I went for a walk in the early evening and about froze our butts off...
I made a note to wear more clothes out there...
Craig's girlfriend, Tia, took this photos for me as the sun was going down...
Moses is working out just fine and he has his forever home...
we just love him...
and it seems he loves us!
I can even get my shower with the door closed now...
oh, but he is such a little beggar when we eat...
trying to get caught up on a lot of little things this morning...
haven't talked to Rebecca yet, so maybe she will call on her lunch hour...
the sun is shining and it's a whole whopping 49 now...
it was 28 when Craig headed off at 8 for classes...
just 3 more weeks of school for him!
have a great day...

Vintage motorcar information...

I went in and found these images online...
they are from the 50s and 60s like I said before...
they were used to check the rails and transport personnel...
today, people buy them up to run the rails...
much like a motor cycle run on a day trip...
these owners do day trips when they can...
when they run, they book the track...
from point A to point B for a certain time frame...
our rails here are owned by ADM...
so there is no other traffic on them except to move grain...
so they rent the track out on a day when they are not using it...
it is always on a Sunday and we have only seen them in colder weather...
they will run 2 or 3 times during their "season"...
I am sure there are other rails they use...
they will go one way and stop and eat...
turn around and go back...
they make a day of it...
I am sure they are old retired conductors taking a look at the tracks and the views only you can see by rail...
if you have never traveled by train...
do so before they are gone...
it's a whole different world...
and the towns and cities you thought you knew so well...
will offer many fun surprises...
hope that answers all your questions...

some of today...

the deck was a disaster...
and you know what is coming up...
so it was time for a clean slate...
and while the guys where lugging to stuff off...
the vintage motorcar club went by...
aren't they the cutest little things ever?..
they are all different...
most have heat and everything...
and these fun people take day trips...
and they stop and eat and then go back...
and they go right by here...
I am always fascinated by them...
would have one myself if I could...
motorcars were used in the 50s & 60s on every railroad in the US and Canada...
I'm sure you remember them if you try...
stuff got moved around and getting ready to decorate for you know what...
the benches look good and they sit nice...
and there is a lot more room to shovel you know what else out of here...
my friend, Rosie, brought this for me the last time she came...
so there it is, Doofus approved...
I have had oatmeal for breakfast...
chicken noodles, mashed potatoes and California blend veggies for lunch...
pumpkin pie and ice cream to keep my strength up this afternoon...
and I'm sitting here wondering what sounds good for supper...
I want to thank everyone who partied with me today...
and thank you so much for visiting everyone and leaving them comments...
we'll do it again next month, so be thinking of a collection...
Hugs to all- Tete
