Charles has beautiful large elm trees...

and they are breaking off...

and my concrete girlie...

so far so good...

still have power and Rebecca called and said the roads were good so she went to her sister in laws and got a shower and just got back home...

she will call when she gets power back on...

but she did get her cell phone charged back up and her IPad...

they said something about us getting thunderstorms later?...

is this weird or what?

by the first of March, things will be so different!

the wind has picked up...

out the kitchen window...

but we still have power here...

just talked to Rebecca and they lost power at 8pm last night...

out the front door...

out the living room window...

out the back door...

DH went to work this morning but said he would leave early...

I think he's stupid to even try it...

the other front is just getting here and it is going to get a whole lot worse...

we are hoping for sleet, because it won't stick to the lines and branches...

don't know if we will lost power...

but anything can happen in this stuff...

so, you all hang in there, post when you can....

the freezing rain has stopped for now...

we are to get snow tonight...

a mixture tomorrow with up to 8 inches of snow...

and the wind is supposed to pick up...

we have broken limbs already and the lines are encased so much with ice...

pray for us that we do not lose power...

and for everyone in the path of this winter storm...

he heard 3 load cracks of limbs coming down in the distance...

you can see here how much ice is on everything...

we will get more in the morning when the sun is up...

there is a major list of closings for tomorrow already...

remember the emergency personal responding to calls in all of this...

because there will always be someone who thinks they can get out in this...
