Craig went with his friend, Tia, to watch the fireworks at the airport...

DH and I drove out in the country and sat on top of a hill and watched several...

he's in bed now and I will sit up until Craig gets home...

DH and I had to go out and fill the bird feeder again...

and it's hot, but the worst part is the humidity...

I can do dry heat...

I hate sticky...

bottle bugs...

when it gets hot here, you can see it...

we sat out here in the shade for a bit and I walked about and got about 60 photos...

no, I didn't post them all...

I don't think blogger could handle it...

we had some dandy lightening last night and .8 of an inch of rain...

the lightening lasted forever...

and the storm it was in just hung out here for awhile...

and the idiots that we are...

we were out watching it...

someone was shooting off fireworks...

(they are illegal here)...

so we watched theirs...

and we haven't gotten much done today...

waiting for my son to bring our truck back so one of the guys can take him home...

DH and I may run in and do my booth in the morning...

if I feel better...

it's time to do supper...

had a visitor this afternoon...

came to see us...

she is brand new...

3 months old...

and I got to rock her...

I want one!

her mommy's father was our neighbor many years ago and he died almost a year ago...

the daughter is completely lost without him...

he died suddenly of a heart attack...

so she stops in from time to time...

she has a son who is 4...

and he plays with the doggies...

and I rocked a sleeping wee one...

and it was good!

it's a scorcher!

boy, howdy, it's nasty out there...

86 but the dew point is 76 and heat index is 96...

got up at 3am!...

what a doof...

then the guys finally got up, fed the babies and headed for town...

stopped to see Doug, County Market, Dollar Tree, Walmart, antique mall, bank, and then grabbed some food to bring home...

and all before 11am...

sold almost 3xs my booth rent, so I am very happy with that...

Dollar Tree is putting out their fall stuff...

snagged 2 of the little pumpkins I couldn't find last year!

I am ahead of the game here today...

as long as I don't forget where I put them when fall comes around...

the guys came home, unloaded the van, helped put things up and ate...

both are snoring right now...

one on the couch to the left of me and one in the bedroom to right...

I got it in stereo...

yippee...

mower guy showed up trying to beat the heat about the time we were done eating and in just a half an hour it feels like it went up 10 degrees...

storms coming through later and they could be nasty, but tomorrow will be back to 82 for a high...

and then the next 10 days look fair and nice...

I can hide in here one afternoon...

looks like a tornado went through here...

there is STUFF EVERYWHERE...

and I will get to it after I get my nap in...

I used to be a perfectionist and a control freak...

I got over it...

had no choice...

now I know the world will not come to an end if it's not done perfectly right now...

I also know my fairies do not work wonders when I sleep...

because it's still there in the morning!

I'm still doing my PT and working hard at it so I can get strong enough to use a scoop shovel...

I am still gaining ground, girls...

and it's wonderful!

I also got my ice cream cone on the way home from KFC today, but there not on sale anymore...

99 cents is still a good deal on a hot day...
