I enjoy my time here and can't wait to start potting again in the spring...

Tuesday night in a small prairie town...

had to go mail some bills off last night...

so we took the long way around to get back home...

it had been so hot during the day, but it did cool off some once the sun started down...

an old town...

flag football practice going on...

future cheerleaders...

and fishing at the dam...

quiet, simple...

and ready for fall football!

 and that's how we do evenings around here...

I am not sure if its just me or if we are all having problems...

I visited several places yesterday and tried to leave comments, but I think only 2 of them were successful...

I am getting around, but not sure if I am leaving anything behind!

if there is a problem, hopefully, it will be fixed soon...

but the heat is back for the rest of the work week...

cooling off this weekend in the 70s...

and no more 90s after that!

so while summer takes one more breath here...

I am inside doing inside things...

that were neglected through the long weekend...

and enjoying some down time...

thinking fall and Halloween décor...

the tubs are out and ready to pop open, but not just yet...

I'll try to give it a couple more weeks...

but its not easy waiting!

looking forward to cooler days...

even got the fire pit set up in a new place...

we will see how we like it next weekend...

lots of little projects...

there are still blooms happening...

but not as many as before...

and we are doggie watching the neighbor's dogs...

going down a couple times a day to feed, water and let them out to potty...

the perfect way to spend the weekend for us...

pretty days and we had tacos on Saturday...

chili today and leftovers tomorrow...

pretty easy weekend...

the way I like them...

this is what happens when you are so late in planting your tomatoes...

the spring just did not cooperate with us this year...

so, getting them in early next year...
